第一篇conversation，一個(gè)交換生reserve了一個(gè)place，then finding that the place isapartment rather than dorm. the student wants to live in a dorm.She didn't realize there is any difference between them inapplication. then balala... sorry I forget.
聽力passage記不起來了，但是記得最清楚的是 把 arid看出acid直接大致略過此項(xiàng)，其實(shí)這個(gè)就是答案。哎，兩道題都是這個(gè)。單元真的是acid, 因?yàn)檫@個(gè)是將澳大利亞reintroducegrass which has two advantages over native weep, one is havingdeeper root, the othe is surviving in the drought weather. sodrought and arid are synonyms. I hope there is a typo in thelistening material rather than a miscatch.

2.technology devices distance people far more now than before.lz 本來準(zhǔn)備的是shorten，原以為題目也是shorten，最后發(fā)現(xiàn)是想法的，但是都已經(jīng)表達(dá)了觀點(diǎn)。所以就即興發(fā)揮了。希望不要太差。
3.university should sponsor organized a bus trips for 1st yearstudents. 1. 1st year students don't have a car, 2. senors can bemore familiar with the city.
The woman thinks it is a good idea. First, thecity is far from campus, and no public transportation available.Second, because there is no bus, she did not know the time andplace for music concerts.

the professor wanted to run a 10 kilometer race,and planned to get up very early in the morning. But he often wentback to sleep after getting up. Then he has a friend who ran withhim together so that he was able to run every early in themorning.
5. The woman plans to go home during the winterbreak, however the ticket is so expensive and she hasn't boughtone.
two solutions: 1. take bus. cheap but 8-hour tripvery painful. 2. take 3 am flight. but may interrupt their parents'sleep and inconvenient for them to pick up her.
6. two ways for whales to use sounds to survive inthe deep ocean. First, navigate. Hear the refection from objects sothat wholes can get right direction. Second obtain food. Sincewhole are in group, one can call other whales if it find anyfish.
