一、銀行簡介
馬來亞銀行上海分行是一家提供全方位金融服務(wù)的外資銀行分行，于2000年12月28日正式對外營業(yè)，是馬來西亞第一家在中國獲批成立的銀行。
馬來亞銀行上海分行專注于向馬來西亞，新加坡和其他東盟國家來華投資及參與同中國貿(mào)易活動的客戶提供全方位的金融服務(wù)。近年來服務(wù)范圍擴展到向中國內(nèi)資企業(yè)(國有/私有企業(yè))提供本外幣金融服務(wù)。分行也參與促進中國和馬來西亞、新加坡及其他東盟國家之間的貿(mào)易和投資活動。同時也尋求向來自其他國家和地區(qū)的外商投資企業(yè)提供服務(wù)。
經(jīng)中國人民銀行批準(zhǔn)，自2012年1月1日起，分行成為四家林吉特/人民幣交易做市商之一。2012年6月18日，馬來西亞央行在馬來西亞境外全球范圍內(nèi)授權(quán)馬來亞銀行上海分行為中國境內(nèi)的客戶和銀行同業(yè)開立林吉特賬戶，為中馬貿(mào)易提供直通式的結(jié)算和清算服務(wù)。
