FileMaker, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Inc.) is the leading standalone desktop database company. FileMaker has an established product line and large customer base. We are developing new and exciting technologies and products that will dramatically enhance our position in the marketplace.
FileMaker is seeking an exceptional software engineer capable of helping us create new products for both Mac OS X and Windows 8 platforms.
The ideal candidate will be a Mac OS X generalist with thorough knowledge of the Cocoa development platform and experience developing small applications, utilities, build scripts, etc. Good working knowledge of Windows development tools is also a plus. We are looking for candidates who are familiar with cross platform development and are ready to work on both front end User Interface and back end application logic.
The successful candidate will be capable of owning assignments, have a passion for delivering high-quality software and possess a high degree of creativity and enthusiasm. Team work, communication, and collaboration are all important attributes of the candidate.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of the Mac OS X development platform
- Good working knowledge of MS Windows development tools
- Demonstrable examples of impressive prior work
- Experience creating applications and utilities
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Additional success factors:
- Strong Objective-C, C++, C# or Java skills
- Deep Unix skills
- Good knowledge of AppleScript or other scripting languages
- Collaborative software products development

Summary
Apple Shop’s are located in the personal computer department of a multi-brand computer electronics stores. Part-time ASC will work in a dedicated Apple Shop in retail chain electronics store environment. They are the representatives of Apple; assisting ASC’s to provide excellent customer service and experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the ASC by merchandising and performing daily shop operations, ensuring all Apple fixtures are up to date and maintained according to Apple’s standards
- Assist the ASC with activities that help drive sales performance
- Evangelize Apple’s value and competitive advantage by delivering product demonstrations to customers
- Assist in exploring customer inquiries, provide proper solutions to customers, focusing on iOS software and hardware products
- Provide the best customer experience and professional support for customers’ requests
Qualifications & Requirements
- You can easily identify with Apple’s culture
- You are a senior level student at a university
- Majoring in computer, telecommunications, business management or a relevant field
- Knowledgeable on computer hardware and software
- Able to work under pressure
- Have good communication skills and team work spirit
- Passionate, optimistic and works with integrity
