英語四六級考試改革后，翻譯部分由原來的單句漢譯英“換裝”為段落漢譯英，四級翻譯段落有140-160個漢字，六級有180-200個漢字。
翻譯策略指點(diǎn)：
穩(wěn)定心態(tài)，挖掘考點(diǎn)、有的放矢，增強(qiáng)訓(xùn)練是攻克翻譯這座大山的不二法寶。
1. 挖掘考點(diǎn)：
由樣題和2012年12月的真題可以看出，翻譯題越來越重視中國的歷史、文化，也就是越來越接地氣。所以，建議考生有意識的積累和背誦一些和中國節(jié)日、歷史事件、經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會發(fā)展相關(guān)的詞匯。關(guān)注以反映中國社會為主的一些英文雜志和報紙。例如中國日報及其網(wǎng)站。大家每天看看網(wǎng)站中頭條新聞，配合中文新[微博]聞的背景，就可以學(xué)到很多表達(dá)。推薦一個中國日報網(wǎng)站下面的一個小欄目：language tips，有大量簡單實(shí)用的雙語文章。
