A. I haven’t seen Tate for a week. What's wrong with him?
一周多沒見泰特了，他怎么了？
B. Haven’t you heard that he quit his job?
你沒聽說(shuō)他辭職了？
A. No, how is that?
沒啊，怎么回事呢？
B. He quit his job last week. And he had thought a lot about it before his resignation.
他上周辭職了，此之前他都想清楚了。
A. He has been working here for thirty years.
他在這里都工作了三十年了呢。
B. But the boss has been finding faults with him ever since he lost our biggest customer.
自從他上回丟了我們的客戶后，老板一直挑他的刺。
A. I saw the boss hitting the ceiling just because he was late for 5 minutes.

B. It might be a blessing in disguise. He has landed a better job with a big company.
