One time，while correcting some writing assignments，I came across a particu-larly funny sentence.The student was talking about how the drinking water in her hometown wasn't very clean,50,she said,“It's a good idea to drink boiling water”.I pointed out her mistake and she agreed that it wasn't a good idea to drink“boiling”water. The correct way to express the sentence would be,“It's a good idea to drink boiled water”.
