Two people immigrate to America. On their first day they are wandering around New York City. After many hours of sightseeing both people are hungry. They then come up to a street vendor selling hot dogs.
有兩個(gè)人移民到美國(guó)，第一天便在紐約市內(nèi)到處閑逛。逛了幾個(gè)小時(shí)，兩人都餓了，便想去賣熱狗的路邊攤買東西吃。
One says to the other in a shocked tone, "My God. Do they eat dogs in America?"
其中一個(gè)人口氣驚訝地對(duì)另一個(gè)說：“我的天，美國(guó)有在吃狗肉啊？”
"I don't know!" says the other, equally appalled.
“我不知道耶！”另一個(gè)人同樣驚訝地說道。
"Well," says the first, "We're going to be Americans, so we must do as they do."
“那么，”第一個(gè)人說：“既然我們要當(dāng)美國(guó)人，那就得入鄉(xiāng)隨俗才行?！?BR> They approach the vendor bravely. "Two hot dogs, plaese."
他們于是鼓起勇氣來(lái)到攤販前面說：“要兩只熱狗?！?BR> The vendor hands them their food in a pair of paper sacks. The two immigrants sit on a park bunch to eat their lunch. One looks inside his sack, hesitates and turns to his partner and says, "Uh, which part of the dog did you get?"
小販用兩個(gè)紙簍各裝一支熱狗給他們，這兩個(gè)新來(lái)的移民便去公園長(zhǎng)椅上坐下來(lái)準(zhǔn)備吃午餐。其中一個(gè)人看了一下紙袋里面的東西，猶豫了一會(huì)兒，轉(zhuǎn)頭對(duì)他的同伴說：“嗯，你拿到的是狗的哪個(gè)部位？”
