(Tess is working at the community center. Jenna comes in.)
Tess: Hi, Jenna. How are you?
Jenna: Not very good. I don’t have a date for the prom!
Tess: Oh, that’s too bad. But you can still have fun!
Jenna: No, I can’t! Who can I go with?
Tess: Can you go with a group of friends?
Jenna: No. All my friends have dates. I’m so embarrassed!
Tess: Why?
Jenna: Because everyone else has a date. And I don’t!
