Topic: What movie genres do you dislike?
A little now about a movie genre that I dislike. I know a lot of people are gonna be unhappy about this but I'm just going to say it. I really don't like romantic comedies. I find that they're very, very formulaic. The characters are always the same. The plotline is the same in every movie, the boy and the girl get together, something bad happens and then they come back together at the end. I mean it's just so predictable. I guess there are some interesting takes on it. I know Adam Sandler's movie, Punch Drunk Love, was a pretty good and smart romantic comedy but most of the time I find they're just, ah, they're so difficult to watch. I feel like I'm watching the same movie over and over again so I tend to shy away from them. Thank you.
