每次到一些所謂比較落后的國家旅游。在偏遠山區(qū)遇見那些沒有見過大城市的鄉(xiāng)間小孩，總會懷疑到底是我比較幸福，還是他們比較幸福?

不久前在緬甸的Kyaikhtiyo小鎮(zhèn)遇見一個幫游客扛行李到景點金石頭的少年?？此菔菪⌒。瑓s一個人把我們4個人的行李都頂上了頭，在細雨中穿著破舊的拖鞋帶領(lǐng)著我們上山。
Long ago in the Burma town of Kyaikhtiyo met a party of tourists carrying luggage to the famous Golden stone youth. He is thin and small, but one of our 4 personal luggage on top of the head, in the rain wearing shabby slippers led us up the mountain.
我們4個人的包肯定不輕。少年也不見得扛得輕松。但他哼也不哼，穩(wěn)步向前，而且總是要走在我們前頭帶路。我是個在外國不論是高級酒店還是街邊小販從來不給小費的吝嗇鬼，但這個少年的敬業(yè)讓我破了戒，還沒到山頂已經(jīng)決定重重打賞他。
We 4 individual packages must not light. Young also not necessarily can easily. But he do not hum hum, steady, and always walk ahead of us. I am a foreign whether senior hotel or street vendors don't tip the miser, but the boy's work let me broken ring, not to the top of the hill has decided to huge rewards him.
望著少年，我在想，他會不會就這樣一輩子被困在山中，每天就是靠著替人扛行李賺那幾塊錢的生活費?如果把他帶到大城市，他會不會有更多的選擇?他會不會還想要當苦力?他會不會比較開心?以后的他會不會比較幸福一點?
Looking at the boy, I think, would he like this for a lifetime trapped in the mountains, every day is relying on for luggage earn a few dollars living expenses? If he brought to the big city, he will have more choices? Will he not want when cooly? He will happy? Later he will be relatively a little happiness?
后來和友人聊起，他覺得我這樣的想法并不實際。山中少年或許永遠都不會有機會離開家鄉(xiāng)到大城市看這個世界五花八門的一面，但那未必就代表著不幸福。
Later and friend chat, he think I such idea is not practical. The young may never have a chance to leave this world at the side of all kinds of big city, but it does not necessarily represent not happiness.
一個沒在花花世界浸濡過的現(xiàn)代人，也不會有太多機會讓他有各種欲望，那未嘗不是一種幸福。
No one in the world, immersion in the modern people, also do not have much chance to let him have all kinds of desires, it may not be a kind of happiness.
比較起被生活周遭太多物質(zhì)所誘惑的我們，往往在得到后還想得到更多，欲望之洞無邊無底永遠填不滿，快樂似乎總是可望不可即，我們辛苦工作努力賺錢，但時間總是不夠用，錢從來賺不夠。

說回那個山中少年，因為一份憐憫，因為他精靈的樣貌，我們要他第二天早上8時回到我們落腳的客棧，幫我們扛行李下山。隔天一早還未到時間，他已經(jīng)冒雨趕到。還是昨天的臟衣服，還是昨天的爛拖鞋，而且非常倔強地不肯踏進客棧避雨。不知道那是他們的工作“禮儀”，還是自尊心問題。但很欣賞他的骨氣。下山途中，兩只野狗在他身邊轉(zhuǎn)呀轉(zhuǎn)，看他與狗之間的交流，真的覺得他和狗都是快樂的。可見每個人在自己的世界里都可以找到屬于自己的舒適空間。生活環(huán)境的苛刻與否，生活條件的好或不好，都只是相對的。

山中少年必然也有我看不到的愁苦時刻，只不過問題是，當我對他產(chǎn)生憐憫的那一刻，我在潛意識中恐怕其實已經(jīng)有點瞧不起他們那樣簡陋的生活方式，并沒有把他們放在與我相等的地位。
