Tracy: I can see why you bought them. Those kitten heels are perfect for work and partying. 我知道你為什么要買它了，因?yàn)檫@種中跟鞋很適合工作和參加舞會(huì)的時(shí)候穿。
Li: Why do people call them kitten heels? 為什么人們稱之為中跟女鞋？

Tracy: They are usually considered to be quite sexy. 它們通常被認(rèn)為非常性感。

Tracy: A kitten heel is a shoe with slightly shorter heel. The heels are usually no more than a couple of inches tall.

Tracy: Exactly.確實(shí)是。

Tracy: Nowadays, women wear all different types of shoes. They might wear kitten heels or stilettos or another type of shoe to work. 現(xiàn)在女人穿不同的鞋。她們可能穿中跟的或者又高又細(xì)的或者其他樣子的鞋去上班。
Li: What do you prefer to wear: kitten heels or stilettos? 你更喜歡那種鞋，是中跟的還是又高又細(xì)的？
Tracy: That's a tough one. I'm quite short so I often wear stilettos, although I think kitten heels are more comfortable. 不好說(shuō)。我個(gè)子不是很高所以我經(jīng)常穿又高又細(xì)的鞋，盡管我覺(jué)得中跟的更舒服些。
