Job Description
Main Responsibility:
• The employee is responsible for the development and adaption of Driver Assistance Systems (DAS: Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Emergency Braking ，F(xiàn)eatures, Traffic Jam Assist,…) for Asia market.
This includes the whole process from product decision to start of production, from product design to testing of the features.
Job Duties:
Research of market situation, benchmarking of DAS other brands
Coordinate development of DAS with Audi AG/China
Plan and coordinate test drives
Adapt and develop software together with suppliers
Track feedback to systems on market
Design new possible features or customerspecific DAS requirements
Collaboration in projects together with universities
Requirements:
Education: Master of mechanical / automotive / electrical / control engineering
Professional Skills:
• Work experience within the automotive industry, preferred with Driver Assistance Systems
• Experienced with electronic systems
• Experienced with project management and planning
• Good technical knowledge about automotive topics
• Experience about subjective testing of vehicles preferred
Personal Skills:
• Analytic thinking and structured procedure
• Good communications skills
• Team player
• Fixity of purpose
• Flexibility, self-initiative, self-reliance
• intercultural comprehension
• High willingness to travel
• Car driver’s license
Language Skills:
• Mandarin as mother tongue or equivalent proficiency
• Advanced language skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• German language skills appreciated, but not necessary
