Description:
RIMES, a leading global financial data integrator, combines the power of data, technology and professional expertise to deliver the most sophisticated financial market data solutions.
We are currently looking for entry level developers to join our team in the Shanghai office.
As a data developer in the RIMES Data Technology group, you will assist in building and operating data acquisition, custom analytics and reporting processes. Ideally, you will bring your interest in large-scale numerical data collection and financial market data processing to the team along with resourcefulness and a sense of humor.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and processing
- Requirements analysis and specification
Required Skills & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics,
Chemistry or related fields
- 0-2 years work experience
- Perl, SQL, MS Windows
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Solution design skills
- Work independently, results driven & detail oriented
- Flexible and efficient at multitasking assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Desirable:
- Strong programming skills
- C, C++, XML, HTML
- MS Excel; and MS Office;
- Knowledge of financial markets and financial data
