Application Engineer職位描述：
Purpose of Job
Provides technical proposals and support to assigned customer, covering LD Gasoline, LDD and Motorcycle/Small Engine applications
Principle Accountabilities
Provide cost-effective proposals for new programs and cost reduction programs to ensure that JM is in leading position technically
Provide suggestions to JM management team on continuous improvements of JM’s technologies and technical support
Test program and plan proposal to customers, communicate customer test programs within JM
Submit sample manufacturing order and sample ageing request
Monitor and review test programs to achieve high efficiency
Technical support to meet customer’s and JM internal requirement
Analyze test data and put together technical presentations independently
Maintain and improve good relationship with customer’s engineering people at working level and senior level
Work Context
Overtime work and frequent business trip
Frequent communication with customers and within JM
Communication with EMS calibrator, substrate supplier or canner
Organize meetings with customers and within JM
Person Specification
Education Training and Work Qualifications
PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Auto Engine
Knowledge
Essential
The nature of automotive exhaust emission control catalysts including DOC, DPF, NOx Trap, SCR and TWC etc.
China and word-wide automotive exhaust emission legislations
The nature of Engine Management System for gasoline engine and fuel injection system for diesel engine
Skills and Abilities
Evaluate related data to identify potential factor(s) causing exhaust emission problem
Devise, monitor and review test programs
Plan meetings with customers and within JM independently
Very good oral and written English skills
