IKEA Food is also about encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more, making it fun for everyone, offering great food at low prices, giving visitors a tasty reason to return again and again, and providing co-worker with a chance o rest and re-change.
Your assignment will include:
· Understand and implement the IKEA Food concept, effective range and range presentation, and basic actions.
· Follow a safe working environment for fellow co-workers, customers and visitors in line with health and safety legislation, group risk manual and the IKEA health & safety policy.
· Ensure that you have the customer in focus and meet our customer with positive, friendly and service-minded attitude, lead by example.
· Work with the manager to ensure the efficient maintenance of the area, ensuring it is clean, organized appealing and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
· Be cost conscious, for example through: controlling waste, correct portions, correct production levels and correct cooking methods.
· Work on key tasks within the area as defined by the manager.
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
· Has achieved a good level of experience as a co-worker within IKEA Food, or has acquired similar skill from an external commercial environment.
· Readiness in understanding given objectives and in implementing actions.
· Good interpersonal skill and has the ability to motivate.
· Passionate about food.
· Finds motivation in, and lives, the IKEA values and acts in line with the IKEA leadership criteria
· Demonstrates service minded and customer oriented attitude and foucs
· Attention to detail
· Must have multi-tasking capabilities
· Good planning and organizational skill
· Able to develop and maintain relationships and cooperate with all levels and functions needs
