Position Title: Event Coordinator
Location: Shanghai - Middle Huaihai Road - Huangpu District
Position Introduction
GLG Event Coordinators manage and leverage Gerson Lehrman Group’s core asset (industry experts) to participate in intimate lunch and breakfast meetings, seminars and master classes with clients – known as Live Meetings. The Event Coordinator role is an exciting position in a fast-growing global firm, with opportunities to work closely with business and investment leaders that are driving industry throughout the world.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the intense programming, marketing and execution of small but numerous GLG events in the Asia-Pacific region
2. Planning travel for Council Members and booking venues for Practice Area Research Leaders to host events and meetings
3. Managing and executing GLG event logistics – liaising with internal teams, external clients, vendors, member organizations
4. Helping to administrate detailed tracking of budget expenditure and monthly bill reconciliations, and processing expense reimbursements
5. Delivering client and Council Member information through the GLG website and online meeting management system
In Shanghai
Due to the rapid growth in event volume, we are seeking an additional team member to bolster the planning logistics service we provide to our Research team in the Asia-Pacific region. This particular role will be part of the small but impactful Asia Live Meetings Team. Though originally established in the US, GLG has firmly embedded itself in Hong Kong. As the sharp growth continues, we are looking for individuals who are committed to evolving and localizing the business to service our region effectively. Candidates should expect a hard-working but rewarding culture within the Live Meetings Team, and the wider Asia team. They are also required to demonstrate quick-thinking and versatility, to support our fast-paced and truly global environment.
What we need
1. A university degree with zero to three years of post-undergraduate experience, preferably in a corporate events coordination capacity
2. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, demonstrable proficiency in oral, writing and presentation abilities in a business-focused environment
3. Successful track record working in a close team environment
4. Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
5. Interest in web-based commerce and networking
6. Demonstrable fluency in using technology tools to improve efficiency and systems
7. Ideally have corporate experience working globally - experience with cultural, language, and time zone challenges

• 有跨國公司以及跨時區(qū)工作經(jīng)歷者優(yōu)先考慮。
• 優(yōu)秀的中英文溝通能力,能夠在商務(wù)環(huán)境中流利運用中英文進行電話郵件溝通和演講展示。
