Job Description
Introduction
The Media Processing Division (MPD) in ARM has the mission to be at the forefront of advanced multimedia IP products for the consumer, wireless and automotive infotainment markets.
ARM has developed an extensive portfolio of software and hardware Graphics Products, supporting the complete range of embedded 2D/3D graphics needs - from System-on-Chip integration through to content development and optimization. ARM provides that in the shape of the Mali™ range of processor cores with its advanced architecture for 2D/3D graphics acceleration, including a family of products supporting the OpenGL ES 2.0/1.1 and OpenVG graphics standards. ARM licenses its graphics products to System-on-Chip developers as well as end-user device manufacturers. MPD is also ARM’s centre for expertise in embedded software development.
Key Responsibility
We are currently building the DX graphics driver team in Shanghai R&D office and are looking for Graduate who have a strong interest in 3D/2D graphics and has passion to become a software engineer. You will contribute to all phases of development including concept, architecture, development, testing and performance tuning of next generation ARM graphics system on Microsoft Windows Operating System. As early member to this group, you will help shape the culture and direction of the group as one of the key resource to ARM.
Job Requirements
Education & Qualifications
Masters or PhD (computer science or electronics engineering) with good academic record.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Passionate at building and delivering high performance graphics system software
• Extensive software development experience with C/C++
• Knowledge of graphics API such as D3D and OpenGL
• Knowledge of Microsoft development environments, tools etc.
• Works well in a team environment
• Willing to take challenge with “Can do” attitude
• Good oral and written English
