Location: Shanghai Opening number:6 Role Summary/Purpose Using sound engineering knowledge and expertise closely work with global designer, supply chain and manufacture plant, provide a complete and sustained engineering onsite support to manufacturing. Responsibilities Provide engineering requirements consulting and interpretation; Conduct risk assessment and/or capability assessment for new source; Review manufacturing processes for new sourced parts, review process changes, to evaluate the impact to engineering requirements; Support manufacture issue investigation and solutions workout, drive tech issue resolution in new sourced part project and routine production; evaluate, develop and follow-up solutions for manufacturing and design-related problems. Initiate and drive design for manufacture projects for drawing correction, leveraging best practice for engineering definition and manufacturing productivity. Act as Engineering representative to evaluate non-conformances, work across functions to facilitate/provide timely disposition to non-conforming material and parts, support corrective steps for non-conformances.
