據(jù)國家外匯管理局公布的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，截至9月末，中國對外金融資產(chǎn)總額達到50400億美元。

據(jù)國家外匯管理局（State Administration of Foreign Exchange，簡稱SAFE）在網(wǎng)站上公布的中國國際投資頭寸表（ international investment position ）顯示，截至九月底，我國對外金融凈資產(chǎn)（net foreign financial assets）為18200億美元，而對外金融負債（ foreign financial liabilities ）總額為32200億。
同時，國家外匯管理局表示，外匯儲備資產(chǎn)（foreign reserve assets）占中國對外金融資產(chǎn)（ external financial assets ）的67%，達到33700億美元。
對外直接投資（outbound direct investment），證券投資（portfolio investments），其他投資分別占對外金融資產(chǎn)的8%、5%和20%。
在負債（liabilities）方面，外國來華直接投資超過19500億美元，占對外金融負債的61%。
國際投資頭寸表是反映一個國家金融資產(chǎn)、負債存量以及資產(chǎn)負債結構（composition）的財務報表（financial statement）。
