Cisco User Experience Designer Intern

Job Title: User Experience Designer
    General Responsibilities:
    Work independently, engage team members, communicate ideas, create prototypes,
    visual elements, design spec and finally work with developers to make designs
    a reality throughout the release cycle of the product.
    Day-to-Day Activities:
    Generate designs based on common sets of HCI, graphic design, interface design
    and Usability theory;
    Create prototypes at different levels of fidelity: paper, wireframe, interacti
    ve HTML or flash
    Create visual elements such as icons, borders, custom widgets, window treatmen
    ts, and graphical layouts;
    Create product UI design spec with other designers;
    Communicate designs to development and provide definition and direction during
    implementation.
    Qualifications & Requirements:
    1.Familiarity with design techniques, such as, storyboarding, user research an
    d prototype required;
    2. Prototyping skills using Visio, Axure, html, flash or similar; Strong visua
    l design sense;
    3. Ability to create graphical elements: icons, widgets, windowing and boarder
    s, layout with PS, AI, CorelDraw or similar;
    4. Good communication skills: both written and verbal; good ability to work in
    dividually and with a group;
    5. >=3 days per week and be able to work as an intern for at least 6 months; G
    rade 3, Grade 4 Bachelors who will continue to pursuit a Master degree and Gra
    de 1 Masters are preferred.
