Technical Writing Support, SAP Globalization Services
    The SAP Globalization Services team localizes SAP’s ERP software for use in different countries. The team has locations across the world, including Brazil, China, Germany, Hungary, India, and Russia.
    We are seeking a student to work as part of our technical writing team in Shanghai. You will be responsible for various tasks relating to the documentation, such as carrying out software transports, and cross-checking the documentation to ensure that it matches the texts in the software.
    The position may be of particular interest to anyone considering a career in technical writing or technical translation.
    Tasks
     Checking documentation to ensure consistency with the system
     Testing the documentation
     Maintaining documentation objects to reflect technical changes in the system
     Publishing nontechnical information for the development teams
    Requirements
     Excellent English skills
     Computer literacy
     Attention to detail
     Interest in technical writing or translation
     Reliability
     Ability to work to short deadlines
     Good communication skills
