微軟亞洲研究院“明日之星”實習生項目
Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting interns for Stars of Tomorrow Internship Program.
微軟亞洲研究院是微軟公司在美國本土之外的基礎科研機構，被美國技術雜志MIT 《Technology Review》譽為“世界上最火的計算機實驗室”。 自1998年成立以來，啟動了面向亞太區(qū)高校博士生、碩士生和優(yōu)秀本科生的“明日之星”實習生項目。該項目由微軟亞洲研究院和國內(nèi)外高校共同執(zhí)行，旨在培養(yǎng)高素質(zhì)的計算機基礎研究人才。實習生進入微軟亞洲研究院后深入到每個研究小組進行為期三個月或更長時間的實習。截止至2010年10月，已有3500名來自亞太區(qū)高校的學生到微軟亞洲研究院實習，平均每年有400個實習機會開放給所有的學生。

Position: Full-time Intern
Group: Innovative Engineering Group
Quantity: 3 - 5
Work Location: Beijing
Group Overview
The Innovative Engineering Group is an incubation group based in Microsoft Research Asia. The teams in this group are small; the environment is unstructured; and the work is fast-paced. Here our focus is to turn ideas into reality.
Roles & Responsibilities
The interns will be working on the projects including SORA, Avatar, Academic Search, or some MSRA internal tools as a developer, a tester, or an editor with a few project teams. The duties will cover hardware testing, image processing, database administration, website development, test automation, or content editing, depending on the specific position.
Required Qualifications:
1.Major in Computer Science/EE/Languages
2.Proficiency in C /C# is required for a development or a test automation position
3.Proven skills of JavaScript/JQuery/CSS is required for a web development position
4.Solid knowledge in database is needed for a database administration position
5.Detail-oriented, customer-oriented, and capable of responding to end-users’ requests for help on behalf of project team for an editor position
6.Strong analytical capability
7.Good reading, written, and oral English
8.Good communication skills and excellent teamwork
9.Can commit at least 3 months internship
