Position 1: Intern – Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Assistance in CAD/CAE software prototyping and implementation
• Tool enrichment for productivity improvement
• Cross team collaboration for product requirement and product quality
Required skills
• Master/Bachelor or equivalent degrees in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
• Strong programming skills with C
• Rich knowledge in MS Windows platform
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good written and oral English skills
Desired skills:
• Knowledge in CAD/CAE software
• Experiences in VB and C#
Position 2: Intern – Web Developer
The successful candidate will work as a developer Engineer on the tools development team in CPG (Core Product Group) which is a group providing foundation component to all the Autodesk product lines. The major responsibility of the position will be focusing on design, prototype, implement an open tools sharing platform by leveraging either the existing Autodesk web sharing infrastructure or upon open source sharing solutions. This position is located at Autodesk China Research and Development Center (ACRD) in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
• Design, prototype and implement scalable/extensible web sharing solutions based on the needs of Autodesk product lines.
• Work closely with cross divisional task forces to collect/refine the sharing platform requirements.
• Participate in complete software development lifecycle and project management to deliver high-quality solutions, business analysis, planning, design, technical implementation and verification;
• Estimate effort and schedule for projects undertaken and complete them on time, adhering to pre-determined specification and quality standards.
Requirements:
• A bachelor degree or higher in computer science, engineering or mathematics.
• Deep understanding to the web application architecture is required.
• Proficiency in basic web technologies: HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with enterprise level web application dev platform.
• Experience on database application development.
• Strong ability of debugging, prototyping, performance tuning and problem solving.
• Solid verbal and written communication and collaboration skills (Chinese & English)
Preferred Qualifications:
• In-depth understanding and extensive experience with .NET development is preferable.
• Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint architecture and built in functionality is a plus;
• Experience on SQL, JQuery, Silverlight and SQL Reporting Service is a plus;
• Experience with open source CMS systems (Drupal, Joomla, etc.) is a plus.
Position 3: Intern - SQA
Work closely with Software Development teams and other Test Developers to ensure that solutions meet market requirements in functionality, usability, stability and performance to produce quality software. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software test plans and reporting software defects and participation in code and documentation reviews.
Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:
- Candidates of BS or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Familiarity and understanding methodologies of Quality Assurance and Software Development processes.
- Outstanding attention to details.
- Ability to self-manage tasks and time.
- Proactive personality with a proven track record of following through and delivering on responsibilities.
- Highly adaptive and capable of being an individual contributor and working as part of an extended team.
- Good English speaker and writing skills.
Position 4: Intern – Automation Tester
Responsibilities:
• Develop and perform automation test cases for Autodesk products.
• Complete other tasks lead assigned.
• Communicate with developers and other relevant colleagues.
Perform the job duties
• Bachelor or higher degree in CS, mechanics and other related field.•
• Good coding skill in C#, and be familiar with Java.
• Be able to work for 4 days a week is necessary.
• Focus on details and be patient.
• Good English skill.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiar with Revit is preferred.
