微軟亞洲研究院“明日之星”實(shí)習(xí)生項(xiàng)目
Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting interns for Stars of Tomorrow Internship Program.
微軟亞洲研究院是微軟公司在美國本土之外的基礎(chǔ)科研機(jī)構(gòu)，被美國技術(shù)雜志MIT 《Technology Review》譽(yù)為“世界上最火的計算機(jī)實(shí)驗(yàn)室”。 自1998年成立以來，啟動了面向亞太區(qū)高校博士生、碩士生和優(yōu)秀本科生的“明日之星”實(shí)習(xí)生項(xiàng)目。該項(xiàng)目由微軟亞洲研究院和國內(nèi)外高校共同執(zhí)行，旨在培養(yǎng)高素質(zhì)的計算機(jī)基礎(chǔ)研究人才。實(shí)習(xí)生進(jìn)入微軟亞洲研究院后深入到每個研究小組進(jìn)行為期三個月或更長時間的實(shí)習(xí)。截止至2011年9月，已有4000名來自亞太區(qū)高校的學(xué)生到微軟亞洲研究院實(shí)習(xí)，平均每年有400個實(shí)習(xí)機(jī)會開放給所有的學(xué)生。

Group Overview
The University Relations (UR) program nurtures strong mutually supportive partnerships between MSR Asia and the academic community. Since MSR Asias inception, the University Relations program has recognized the inherent value of the academic research community and the need for collaboration between academia and industry to advance the state-of-the-art in computer science.
Roles & Responsibilities
The interns will be working with gigapixel camera team to develop new gigapixel camera
Required Qualifications:
1. Major in mechanics, electronics, or optics. Real hardware development (in the above areas) experience is required.
2. Love challenges, passionate about technologies and eager to learn new things.
3. Decent spoken and written English. Effective communication skills, meetings, emails, presentations, documentations
4. Can work independently and able handle complicated problems
5. Photography knowledge is preferred
6. Team project experience is preferred
