Job Title: Strategic Business Development Intern for MBA
Job Description
The Strategic Business Development Intern will perform market research, busine
ss modeling and business plan development, on new business opportunities for t
he primary care market for Philips Healthcare in the next 5~10 years.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform market scouting on healthcare trends, new business models, or
innovative applications in emerging market
• Facilitate analysis on competitive landscape, and assessment on Philip
s Healthcare internal competences
• Document initial business plan(s) with data, dependencies, positioning
, business analysis, recommendations, risks, next steps, basic financials, etc
.
• Support in business modeling and business plan development, including
R&D, sales/marketing, manufacturing, procurement, channel network, service, qu
ality, financial projection, etc.
• Provide administrative support in daily work, and assistance in projec
t management and project activities, e.g., in-depth interviews with key stakeh
olders
• Provide administrative support in meetings and workshop preparation an
d arrangement
Qualifications
• 2nd year in MBA program, or recent MBA graduate (within 1 year of gra
duation)
• Solid Medical background, 3 years work experience is preferred
• Research skills – internet searching on news, blog, and company websi
tes,
• Strong analytical thinking and systematic problem solving skills , kno
wledge of Porter is preferred
• Good communication skills; fluent in both oral and written English; Te
am player,
• At least 3.5 days per week; full-time preferred; can work for 3-4 mont
hs
