3、報(bào)酬： 2400元（共11周，每周平均12小時(shí)）

What Youll Do
• Get trained to be a TA
All new TAs will attend the TA Orientation Conference in its entirety, which t
akes place on the weekend before the summer semester. (TA candidates will nee
d to commit to this program before hiring.) New TAs will also complete four ad
ditional hours of internship training during the first two weeks of the partic
ular semester they are assigned to work.
• Work as a team with your faculty supervisor in support of student lear
ning. Fulfill all responsibilities in a professional and timely manner.
• Lead recitation session(s);
• Hold office hours for individual tutoring;
• Grade homework / quizzes / paper(s) / exam(s);Attend lecture(s);
• Assist in Lab session(s) as needed;
• Other tasks, such as regular meetings with faculty supervisor, answeri
ng emails, office work,etc.
• Learning and Teaching (CLT-JI).to support students in the learning pro
cess. Expected workload is 12 hours per week on the average for the duration o
f the course.
What Youll Get
• A total stipend of 2400 Yuan for 2012 spring semester (11 weeks), with
extra bonus depending on job performance and TA job categories.
• A letter of recommendation from the CLT-JI based on job performance.
• A certificate of teaching for those who have successfully completed th
e requirements specified by CLT-JI.
What We Need From You
• Submit a completed application to umji-asa@sjtu.edu.cn ; application f
orm template is attached.
• A letter of recommendation will be a plus, but NOT necessarily, from a
professor, or a TA at JI concerning your communication skills, academic abili
ties, intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm, experience helping others, respon
sibility, and interpersonal skills.
