ARM processor division tools team in Shanghai develops, maintains and distributes GNU toolchain for ARM embedded processor. Latest product release is at https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/4.6/2011-q4-major
Key Responsibility
We welcome those who love compiler/tools technology to take a challenging role in ARM Shanghai R&D center to improve GCC benchmarking infrastructure and develop GCC toolchain. You will be working on leading ARM technology and have opportunity to work with not only ARM engineers but also key contributors in GNU toolchain communities.
Essential Skills
l Experience in using and developing software development tools (at least one of GCC, GAS, GDB and GNU Binutils)
l Expert knowledge of ASM, C or C
l Practical, organized and analytical approach to work
l Fluent written and oral English
Desirable Skills
l Development of Compiler programs
l Strong scripting ability
l Development in Linux environment
Duration will be 6 month and possibly extend to one year
