Polycom is an industry leader on unified communications and has world-class R&D center in Beijing. The Beijing center plays a critical role inside Polycom and has full ownership of key products. Right now, we are expanding the team that develops the Video Access Servers. The Video Access Server enables the Polycom solution to serve not only the enterprise environment, but also consumer and business to business scenarios by seamless firewall traversal on both signaling and media.
We are seeking exceptional interns to join our development team. The ideal candidate must be passionate about building high quality, high performance and high availability system with high scalability. The right candidate is a highly motivated individual who is able to work in self-motivated teams that can take a product from conception through delivery.
[b]Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:[/b]- Conduct development and testing work for Polycom Video Access Server products
[b]Requirements:[/b]The prerequisite is that the candidate must ensure full time work at Polycom in the timeframe for at least 6 months
[b]Furthermore, MUST have:[/b](1) Master degree students, preferably in telecommunications, computer science, software electronics
(2) TCP/IP basic knowledge and database programming skill
(3) Basic knowledge (work experience is highly preferred) on telecom/datacom equipments
(4) Basic understanding with VOIP/Video related protocols (SIP, H.323, ICE)and network compositions, systems provisioning and management for communication equipments and network
(5) At least 4 working days per week
