Contract Administrator職位描述:
Background:
We are a renowned patent and optical standards licensing agent headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. Our shareholders are Philips, Sony, and Pioneer. We are seeking a promising candidate to join our growing patent licensing activities in China.
Function description:
The successful candidate will be required to provide general support to our SZ office and assist our account managers in China to manage contract administrative issues arising in China from our licensing activities worldwide.
Key/Essential Areas of Responsibility:
1. To assist account managers in licensing or settlement negotiations, collection of royalty or settlement debts, collecting market information, and identifying potential targets in the unlicensed market.
2. To monitor and enforce the compliance of license agreements or settlement agreements, particularly, to monitor and enforce the timeliness and accuracy of royalty reports and payments.
3. To assist with local and international enforcement activities.
4. To review patent license applications and perform basic due diligence.
5. To assist management in the daily operation of various licensing programs.
6. To organize marketing activities at industry tradeshows.
7. To develop and maintain business relationships with industry players.
8. To organize periodic group meetings for the team locally.
Specific skills/experiences:
Working in an international business and legal environment, applicants must have strong English speaking and writing skills and be fluent in Mandarin. Previous business, intellectual properties, legal, and enforcement experiences are desirable. Applicants must be interested in intellectual properties and enjoy working in a team and under pressure.
Education/Level and Majors:
Bachelor degree holder in any major, but business, legal and English major is a plus.
