Project Description: The project is to innovate security techniques to prote
ct peripheral device I/O in Linux/Windows platforms. The research engineer w
ill participate in designing, developing and testing the new security system
.
Requirements: The applicant is expected to satisfy the following requirement
s.
- Master degree (or above) in computer science or related areas (including f
ull time Ph.D students).
- Strong C/C programming skills
- Familiar with operating system and virtualization techniques. Experience i
n I/O or kernel level programing will be a plus.
Salary and benefits: Successful applicants will receive monthly stipend betw
een S$2200~5000 (1S$=5.2RMB according to the current exchange rate) and enjo
y the full SMU staff benefits including medical insurances and paid leaves.
The contract is one year and subject to renewal.
