The movie follows the plot of the first half of the seventh novel in the series and leaves the audience at a cliffhanger in anticipation of the second part and final movie. As with previous Harry Potter films the special effects excellently portray the fantasy and magic, making the movie come to life.
I enjoyed seeing the familiar cast from the previous Harry Potter movies act out the plot that sees significant character development in this first part of the Deathly Hollows. The enjoyable character relationship construction and exploration was only possible due to the splitting of the novel into two movies.
Four out of five stars for a continually captivating and entertaining adventure into the fantasy world of witchcraft and wizardry.
