Title : Software Development Engineer for ToolsCenter
Location : IBM China Systems & Technology Lab, Shanghai ZhangJiang
Job Description :
IBM System X (x86 based server) ToolsCenter is a collection of server management tools to manage IBM System X rack and blade servers, offering diagnostic & update & configuration & deployment functionalities.
Working in ToolsCenter, you will, as member of global team, be involved into whole life cycle of software development, researching new technology and implementing architectural designs. Besides, you will gain experience of developing cutting-edge system management tools that are easy to use. Meanwhile, you will keep touch with local customers and partners in one of the largest and most important markets in the world, to understand their needs and deliver positive impact to the business.
Required Skills:
- Expert in C/C programming under Linux/Windows environment
- Professional software debugging skill
- Experience in Linux build / shell scripting.
- Smart, quick learner and strong analytical skills
- Excellent and professional communication skills; Fluent in English, CET6
- Self-motivated & excellent team player
-<2 years working experience with Master’s degree, or, master candidates who will graduate in 2012
- Solid understanding of CIM architecture & System management APIs is a strong plus
- Project management and team lead experience is is a strong plus
