目前，亞洲的發(fā)展面臨著新的機遇，也面臨著新的挑戰(zhàn)?？傮w上，亞洲依然是當今世界經(jīng)濟活力和發(fā)展?jié)摿Φ牡貐^(qū)。經(jīng)濟全球化的深入發(fā)展和科學技術(shù)的迅猛進步，有利于亞洲各國利用國際資本，引進先進技術(shù)，開拓國際市場，推動本國經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展。但是，亞洲某些地區(qū)的安全形勢仍不容樂觀，反對恐怖主義的斗爭尚待深入。經(jīng)濟全球化在帶來發(fā)展機遇的同時，也增加了國際經(jīng)濟環(huán)境的不確定性，增加了本地區(qū)內(nèi)發(fā)展中經(jīng)濟體結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)整的難度和遭遇外部沖擊的風險。

At present, Asia is presented with both new opportunities and new challenges. Generally, Asia is economically the most dynamic region in the world with the greatest potential for development. The further development of economic globalization and the rapid advance of science and technology will enable the Asian countries to utilize international capital, introduce advanced technologies and explore overseas market to accelerate the development of the national economy. However, the security is far from optimistic in some of the areas in Asia, and the anti-terrorism fight calls for our continued efforts. While bringing the opportunities for development, economic globalization has increased the uncertainty of the international economic environment, the difficulty of the restructuring and the risk of being vulnerable to the external impact for the developing economies in Asia.
