DHG Display Driver Engineer
Description
Job Description: Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs\\ advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements\\ designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.
Qualifications
The candidate should have a Bachelor degree in EE or CS with more than 6 years of experience or a Master degree with more than 1 year working experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Excellent SW development, debugging and testing skills in C and C or ASM*
- Linux Kernel development experience
- Solid experience and in-depth understanding of TV Encoder/HDMI/Scaling/De-interlacing/Display Enhancement Algorithm, etc.
- Experience in HW specifications is a plus
- Knowledge in STB or DTV hardware system preferable
- Strong commitment to deliver on schedule and with high quality
- Excellent communications skills
- Be a team player and demonstrate good interpersonal skills

DHG Graphics Software Engineer
Description
You will be joining PRC Graphics and Display Driver Team in Digital Home Group as a Sr. Software Engineer. This team is responsible for Graphics and Display Driver development for Intel SoC (System on Chip) based CE platform such as digital set-top boxes, connected Audio/Video devices, etc. In this position, you will be mainly responsible for developing/debugging/optimizing 3D/2D graphics drivers for Intel IA SoC media processor. You will be working closely with US partners and local teams on project development and customer support.
Qualifications
The candidate should possess a Master degree in CS/EE with 1 years working experience or a Bachelor degree with 6 years working experience on Linux *graphics driver development. Additional qualifications include:
- Excellent SW development, debugging and testing skills in C/C .
- Solid experience in OpenGL/OpenGL ES driver development.
- Experience in X11 or DirectFB driver development.
- Experience in Linux* Kernel development.
- Experience in Intel Architecture and IA based embedded driver development is a good plus.
- Experience in software optimization, performance tuning, graphics algorithm is a good plus.
- Strong commitment to deliver task on schedule with high quality.
- Be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
