1.Clarity 清晰原則
注意要點(diǎn)：
1)make sure that your letter is so clear that it cannot be misunderstood. If it is ambiguous, further exchange of letters for explanation will become inevitable, thus it wastes both time and money.

2)when you are sure about what you want to say, say it in plain, simple words.

2.Conciseness 簡(jiǎn)潔原則
注意要點(diǎn)：

3.Courtesy/Politeness 禮貌原則
注意要點(diǎn)：
1)one of the most important things is promptness, especially when a reply is given to a customer’s letter, do it without any delay.

中文意思：最重要的一點(diǎn)就是迅速，特別是當(dāng)你回復(fù)客戶的信函時(shí)，不能有任何延遲。
2)avoid irritating, offensive and belittling statement.
注釋：irritating: 使憤怒的, 刺激的, 氣人的 offensive: 討厭的，無禮的，攻擊性的 belittling: 輕視的，蔑視的 statement: 陳述，語句
中文意思：避免使用過激的，無禮的和輕視的語句。
3)use diplomacy and tact to overcome differences. Courtesy consists not only in using polite phrase like “please”, “thank you”, but also in showing your consideration for your reader.
