Research Engineer--Power Systems
Location: Beijing, China

ABB Corporate Research, in close collaboration with varied ABB business areas, is developing the foundations for the next generation of ABB products. In China, ABB Corporate Research, located in Beijing and Shanghai, employs 50 scientists with expertise in power and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and initiate research projects in power system area, focusing on but not limited to the following topics: power system simulation and analysis, renewable energy integration and energy storage, power system protection, and electric vehicle related research works, etc.
- Follow up new technologies, have a clear view of technology development trend
- Provide technical support for ABB business units
Requirements:
- PhD degree majored in power system analysis, power electronics and electrical drive, control and protection, or other related areas. Candidates with working experiences are preferred.
- Solid theoretical knowledge and practical skills; Competence of application-oriented research works
- Open minded and willing to learn; excellent innovation capability
- Self-motivated, willing to face different tasks and new challenges
- Be able to travel abroad, including short-term job rotation as required
- Adapt to multi-language working environment, fluent in spoken and written English
- Good communication and presentation skills

-在下列領(lǐng)域具有博士學(xué)位：電力系統(tǒng)分析、電力電子及電力傳動、保護與控制或相近領(lǐng)域?qū)I(yè)知識。具有相關(guān)工作經(jīng)驗者優(yōu)先。
-在相關(guān)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域具備良好的理論和技術(shù)知識，能夠勝任面向應(yīng)用的研究
-思維活躍開放，具有優(yōu)秀的創(chuàng)新能力
-積極主動，喜歡不同任務(wù)和挑戰(zhàn)，樂于學(xué)習(xí)新事物
-愿意國際出差，包括短期工作輪換
