上海建可容二十萬人的地下掩體
     一家中國報紙報導,中國人口最多的城市上海建成一個巨大的地下防空掩體,以備在遭遇核襲擊或是其他災難時保護民眾。
     上海新聞晨報報導,該設施總面積達9萬平方米,通過一系列通道與商場、辦公樓以及公寓樓相通。報導還說,掩體還與城市的地鐵系統(tǒng)相連。
     上海新聞晨報說,這個設施可以容納20萬人在里面生存多達15天。上海目前的人口接近2千萬。
     報導沒有提及這個地下設施的具體地址。
     A state-controlled newspaper in China says the country's most populous city, Shanghai, has built a vast, underground bunker to protect people in the event of a nuclear attack or other calamity.
     The Shanghai Morning Post reports the facility is 90-thousand square meters and connects to shopping centers, office buildings and apartment blocks through a series of tunnels. The newspaper says the bunker links to the city's subway system, as well.
     The paper says the facility can support 200-thousand people for up to 15 days. The Shanghai municipality's population is approaching 20 million.
     The exact location of the bunker was not mentioned.

     中國國營新聞媒體報導,中國東北港口城市大連將建設中國第一條采用國內技術修建的商用磁懸浮鐵路線。這項被稱為“磁浮”(maglev)的技術利用力量強大的磁力來使火車懸浮在鐵軌之上,驅動它高速前行。
     上海擁有中國首條磁浮鐵路,把國際機場和商業(yè)區(qū)連接起來。那條線路采用的是德國技術。
     大連則計劃在這個城市開發(fā)區(qū)建造一條距離短一些、速度低一些的三公里長的線路,具體的路線目前還沒有確定。
     即將使用的中國技術與德國和日本的磁浮列車技術有一些區(qū)別。開發(fā)這項技術的團隊總工程師說,線路的造價大約是國外系統(tǒng)的一半左右。
     Chinese government-controlled news media say the northeastern port city of Dalian will build the country's first home-grown commercial magnetic levitation train line. Known as "maglev", the technology uses powerful magnets to suspend a train above its rails and drive it forward at high speed.
     Shanghai has China's first maglev train line, connecting its international airport and business district. It was built with German technology.
     Dalian's plans are for a shorter, slower, three-kilometer line along a yet-to-be-determined route in the city's development zone.
     The Chinese technology to be used varies somewhat from the maglev trains built in Germany and Japan. The chief engineer on the team developing the technology says it will cost about half what foreign systems do.
