BRASILIA， Brazil （UPI） —— The body of the Brazilian military leader who committed suicide in Haiti was returned to the Brazilian capital Tuesday.
Urano Teixeira da Matta Bacellar， who was the head of the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Haiti， had apparently committed suicide over the weekend with a single shot to the head， said U.N. and Haitian investigators.
The 58-year-old lieutenant general was the head of the mission since last September.
He is scheduled to be buried at a cemetery in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday.
