Figures from the Bank of Mozambique show that the value of the metical against the US dollar has fallen from 26，500 at the beginning of November to 29，000 on November 17， despite having recovered since then.莫桑比克銀行的數(shù)字表明，梅蒂爾卡兌美元的匯率已經(jīng)從11月初的26500降到11月17日的29000.11月17日后逐漸恢復(fù)。
Addressing the Mozambican parliament， Chang said that the fall of the metical in the first half of November was due to banks that finance the acquisition of fuel buying large quantities of foreign currency， which had put pressure on the metical.曼努埃爾？鄭在向莫桑比克議會的演說中稱，11月上半月梅蒂爾卡貶值的原因是給石油進(jìn)口提供資金的銀行購進(jìn)大量外幣造成的，給梅蒂爾卡施加了壓力。
