MOSCOW （Reuters） - Harry Potter has captivated readers and cinema-goers worldwide, but a Russian man has decided to see if the famous name can pass an altogether different test —— winning him election as a provincial governor.
莫斯科（路透社）- 哈里·波特在全世界傾倒了眾多讀者和電影迷們，然而一位俄羅斯人決定試一試這個響當(dāng)當(dāng)?shù)拿帜芊裢ㄟ^一次特別的考驗(yàn)——幫助他競選省長。
★captivate, “使著迷，迷倒”：With her beauty and charm she captivated film audiences everywhere. 她以美貌和魅力傾倒了各地的電影觀眾。 這個詞有很多意義相近的詞，如attract, allure, bewitch, charm, enchant, fascinate, magnetize等。Cinema-goer, 電影愛好者，也可以說成 filmgoer, ；類似構(gòu)詞法的還有 holiday-maker, 度假的人， policy-maker 制定政策者等。
After previous unsuccessful election campaigns in the Sverdlovsk region, the 32-year-old hopes to enlist a little magical help from the boy wizard by changing his name to Harry Ivanovich Potter.
