休息了兩天，今天繼續(xù)Kaitlin教小詞，這次講的也是個再簡單不過的詞：make
make做動詞的用法相信很多同學(xué)都不陌生，一直掛在嘴邊的有make of(i.e. It’s said the book is made of gold.) , make in (i.e. The toys are made in China.), etc. 有一些很常見的短語比如make up，大家對它的意思可能知其一不知其二哦！make up在口語里面經(jīng)常用到的意思有下面幾個：
1. 組成 Ten students make up a team.（十個學(xué)生組成一個組）
2. 補償 Sorry for being late. I’ll make it up to you.（對不起我遲到了，我會"將功贖罪"的）
3. 和好 We had a fight in the morning but already made up after lunch. （我們早上吵架了，但是午飯之后就和好了）
4. 杜撰 That was a true story. I didn’t make it up. （那是個真實的故事，不是我亂編的）
5. 化妝 The party starts in 5 min. I can’t believe you are still making up! （派對還有5分鐘就開始了，你怎么還在化妝?。?BR> Whew~~~小小一個make up意思還不少吧？另外，make up還可以作為一個詞make-up，意思是"化妝品"，就是中文里面說的"彩妝"。I’m tripping to Hong Kong in mid-April. And fancy make-ups is definitely on top of my shopping list! 提到化妝品，不得不順便講一下另外一個跟make有關(guān)的詞：make over.現(xiàn)在女孩子的化妝技術(shù)太高了，"before"跟"after"簡直就是兩個人嘛！所以我常常說 Makeups have made you over to another girl!（化妝品讓你變成了另外一個人！）
有時候我們會遇到一些特別投緣的陌生人，或者一件特別小的但是很能讓你開心的事情，這時候你就可以說"It has made my day!" Make one’s day是一個idiom,意思是"讓人很開心"。All the support I got from you guys really made my day!^^。
