EMC 中國研發(fā)中心于2006年7月17日正式落成，位于上海和北京，并相續(xù)開設了中國實驗室和全球客戶技術(shù)支持中心。主要負責EMC的核心軟件與硬件的開發(fā)工作。其主要目標是想EMC業(yè)務部門提供先進的軟件與硬件開發(fā)與質(zhì)量保證功能，為中國、亞太地區(qū)和全球的客戶提供世界一流的產(chǎn)品和服務。2009年7 月，EMC中國卓越研發(fā)集團在原EMC中國研發(fā)中心的基礎上成立，下屬包括存儲技術(shù)研發(fā)基地、云計算研發(fā)基地、信息管理研發(fā)基地、中國實驗室、全球解決方案中心和全球客戶技術(shù)支持中心六大職能部門。
