在第二十三課中，課文里的幾位主角在南塔餐廳聚會(huì)，慶祝雙方終于達(dá)成了有關(guān)的合作協(xié)議。我們也得以從他們的對話中學(xué)習(xí)到了一些在商務(wù)聚餐時(shí)常?？梢杂玫降囊恍┚湫?，以及餐桌上的一些禮儀等等。
在這一課里，我們還要繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)“商務(wù)聚餐”這段對話的其它內(nèi)容，不過在學(xué)習(xí)新的課文之前，還是按照慣例讓我們一起來復(fù)習(xí)一遍上一課的內(nèi)容，您也可以測試一下自己還記得多少有關(guān)的內(nèi)容。請聽錄音。
Harvey: Now. I have a surprise. We’ve book the Southern Tower restaurant to celebrate our partnership. We’d like to invite you to dinner.
Lok: The Southern Tower? We tried to go there but it’s booked out for months.
Harvey: Ah yes… but Douglas has a lot of influence in Sydney!
We‘ve booked a table for 7 o’clock. Caroline and Douglas will be there too.
Lian: How wonderful. We’d love to come.
Lok: Yes, thank you.
Douglas: This is the highest restaurant in the southern hemisphere.
Lian: What a view. There’s the Opera House. We were there yesterday.
Waiter: Your menus.
Lian: Thank you.
Waiter: Would you like to order drinks now?
Lian: I’ll just have a water to start, thanks.
Douglas: We’ll have a bottle of this champagne please.
Waiter: Fine. I’ll be back to take your dinner orders.
Lian: Oh, there’s so much to choose from. What do you recommend?
Douglas: Well, if you like seafood, the roasted lobster here is delicious.
Lok: That sounds good to me.
Lian: I’ll have the Peking Duck.
Loc: Where is the Opera House?
Harvey: This is a revolving restaurant, Lok. We’ll see it again soon.
Lok: Oh, marvellous!

Victoria: Thanks, but I can’t take all the credit. It was Harvey’s idea too.

Harvey: Thanks, Vicky.

Douglas: I’d like to propose a toast.

Douglas: Lian and Lok. Can I just say what a pleasure it is to welcome you into a partnership with Hale and Hearty.
