    ——You don't mean you're leaving for good?
    你不是一去不復(fù)返吧?
    ——Of course not.I surely will return after the job is done.
    當(dāng)然不是,工作一完我就回來。
    ——You admitted having cheated in examinations?
    你承認(rèn)考試作弊了?
    ——Yes.

    2)I mean用來引出解釋上句所說內(nèi)容的理由的句子,又如:
    I didn't know our meeting had been put off until next week.
    I mean,nobody told me.
    我不知道我們的會(huì)議已經(jīng)推遲到下周,沒有人告訴我呀!
    I mean也可用來糾正剛說過的話,或者把已經(jīng)說過的話說得更明確些。如:
    The chairman is leaving for Nanning tomorrow-I mean for Nanjing.主任明天動(dòng)身去南寧,不,我是說是去南京。
    The new library is to open on Tuesday-I mean next Tuesday.新圖書館定于星期二開館,是下星期二。
