1.荷蘭和scandinavian3國的industrilization比較。3個方面，1.人口素質(zhì)，2.地理位置，那3國harbor 多，得益于國際貿(mào)易，但國際貿(mào)易比較fluctuat，有題目，選not stable，得了不少錢。3.policy和國內(nèi)政治比較少腐敗什么的。后一道選3個因素的。
2.閃電的形成，結(jié)構(gòu)是象sandwich，上面，下面是＋電子，中間是－電子。有問為什么上面是＋的。
有選empirical的同意詞，我選的是 base on common sense.不確定對否。
還有考trigger，unprecedented
加試了2篇閱讀。
聽力（順序有點亂）
1.一學(xué)生去找活干，說從的東北大學(xué)轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)過來的，staff問為什么（此處有題），因為他喜歡international study,新學(xué)校有比較好的program.還講他家里host international student，問他為什么提這個。我選的是說明他為什么對intl study 感興趣。教授說職位都已經(jīng)滿了，你下學(xué)期再來吧，然后又說if you really want,問態(tài)度啥意思。反正很簡單。
2.biology 講wooden frog freeze的問題。先閑扯說spring來了，問提這個啥意思。開頭要注意聽這里。然后講frog怎么freeze過冬的。皮膚，水分，心跳怎么樣，題目問：先開始哪個。中間學(xué)生打岔：象car freezer 一樣？老師說：you tell me that…… 講了一通，問老師這話啥意思。
3. sun spot，先扯到中國古代的觀點。然后講伽利略，然后近代的人觀察結(jié)果，有2個人，分別觀察了10，40年，前一個提出spot 周期是10年，后一個說11年?，F(xiàn)在astronomy 什么發(fā)現(xiàn)。有題問，教授提到這2個人觀察年份很長，什么意思？
4.學(xué)生找老師，先是問對他的paper什么意見。然后2人聊到market dept 搞的一個 TV research.老師勸學(xué)生參加。剩的一個time slot ，學(xué)生沒法take.他要上課，還要打工。老師說哦，那個飯店的老板我認識（問啥意思），人很好，可能會讓你換班的。學(xué)生說我還在training階段。老師還是鼓勵他跟店老板講。
口語
1.in 10 years one thing you think will make your life different.
可以說出國留學(xué)go abroad and study in the States.first reason is getting further education 略談自己的專業(yè)，并有所提升
另外，處在不同的文化背景下，可以讓自己更加open，否則就會有culture conflict，因此可以提到people skills
2. it is important to learn about other cultures. agree or disagree.
agree
第一個理由提高cross-culture commnunication的能力，該點與第一題十分相似，例如與阿拉伯人交往可以知道他們的風(fēng)俗，更好的溝通
第二個理由為文化本身也很有意思，例如美國文化中的一些有意思的文化現(xiàn)象，節(jié)日之類的?？梢哉f幾天以后的感恩節(jié)thanksgiving，你深深地被它所吸引云云
3. 合唱團決定增加off-campus的演出。男士同意1，如果大家知道go against other choir group,會唱的更好，rehearse的更勤快。2.吸引別人來看attract more attention，覺得好的，人家就可能參加他們團。
4.動物的relict behavior. condition變了，但是以前的習(xí)慣還保留。例子，prohourn 跑的快，因為N年前他的天敵lion跑的快。后來獅子extinct了，prohoung還是跑的快。
5.man got the paper done but forgot to bring it to class. solution1. drive back，但要miss class.2.talk to the Prof. after class,能否email交。
6.market strategy 中的 target customer, 2個特征，1看age，2看location.例子：如果推銷toy，就應(yīng)該在孩子看電視的時候播廣告。另一個，如果推銷boat，就該選擇靠近ocean lake的地區(qū)。

lecture 反駁1.natural pesticide is easy to break down, even before the produce arrive the store, less harmful than normal pesticide
2.有 strict guideline 和step，不太可能產(chǎn)生 contamination problem.
3.expensive but worth it. 研究表明organic的東西，有更多的vitamins和nutrition.

俺的學(xué)校要求低，86即可。俺只要不低于這個分數(shù)就行了。
