     他們所擁有的戰(zhàn)艦中，沒有一艘能在速度和火力方面與俾斯麥號相匹敵。
    （match是動(dòng)詞，意思是“比得上；匹敵”。）
    2002年高考聽力第3題：
     What are the two speakers talking about?
     A. A football player. B. A football team. C. A football match.
    （這里的match是名詞“比賽”。）
    matter
    n. 事件；問題。如：
    What’s the matter (with you)?
    （你）怎么了？有什么事情嗎？
    I have an urgent matter to do and have to go now.
    我有一件急事要辦，現(xiàn)在要馬上離開。（matter是可數(shù)名詞。）
