Want something /someone意為“想要某物，想見(jiàn)某人”，也可用于被動(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)，比如：

Wish to do something 相當(dāng)于want to do something或hope to do something意為“愿意，希望做某事”，這里用來(lái)表示自己的主觀愿望，希望得到別人理解及支持，例如：But I wish to remain here.但我愿意留在這兒。
I do not wish to be disturbed in my work. 我工作時(shí)不愿受到打擾。
