    Dear Mr. Turner,
    Late deliveries of stocks
Thank you for your letter of October 31 about late deliveries of our labels.
We have had a series of industrial disputes at our Canterbury factory which have greatly delayed
productionof our labels. There have also been transport problems which have not been overcome.
I sent a letter of explanation to your store manager, Mr. Tomkin, but he has apparently not passed it on.
We apologize for having disputed your normal production and would be grateful for a chance to make
what arrangements we can to reduce the delays.
    Yours faithfully,
