一、教學內(nèi)容
1.詞匯（略）。
2.語法：復習祈使句。
3.日常交際用語：復習表示請求和說明的用語。
二、教具
錄音機；小黑板，上面寫有課文第2部分instructions的內(nèi)容。
三、課堂教學設(shè)計
1.復習 值日生報告。
2.教師用如下語言引出本課要學內(nèi)容：
T： Two weeks ago， Mr Green went to see the headmaster. Because his family were going back to England for a holiday. Now they are going away. Please tell me how many people there are in the family.
Ss： There are four people in the family.
T： Right. Who are they？
S： They are Mr Green， Mrs Green， Jim and Kate.
T： Right. But don't forget Polly. They can't take Polly to England with them. Now listen， and then answer this question： Who is going to look after Polly？
聽錄音一遍，學生回答教師提出的問題。
3.打開書，給學生兩分鐘時間閱讀。將生詞劃出，并結(jié)合上下文去猜測。
教師領(lǐng)讀生詞，學生反復練習，直到初步能上口為止。
4.聽錄音，學生跟讀一遍。教師講解難句（見難點講解）。
5.合上書。教師用以下語言啟發(fā)學生：
T： What does Ling Feng have to do if he takes good care of Polly？
要求學生用英語發(fā)表看法。將學生提出的正確建議板書。數(shù)分鐘后打開書，請大家對照課本第2部分的表格，檢查自己剛才的建議。
6.要求學生用以下句型改寫表格中各祈使句：
Jim told Ling Feng to…
7.指導學生做練習冊習題。
8.布置作業(yè)
1）練習朗讀本課課文，抄寫生詞；2）書面完成練習冊習題。
四、難點講解
1.I've written it all down on this list. 我已經(jīng)都把它寫在這張紙上了。
write down是“寫下”的意思。例如：Please write down your names and address here. 請在這里寫好自己的姓名、住址。
2. I'll take good care of her. 我將好好照料她。
take care of意思和 look after相近，都有“照顧、照料”的意思。而 take good care of則是要“好好照顧”了。例如：
Ling Feng took good care of the baby while Aunt Huang was away. 在黃阿姨不在時，凌峰把小孩照顧得很好。
