3. 當(dāng)先行詞為time表示 “次數(shù)”時,常用關(guān)系詞that或省去關(guān)系詞,而不用when來引導(dǎo)定語從句。如:
     This is the first/last time that I shall give you a lesson.
     這是我第/后給你們上課。
     4. 當(dāng)point, situation等詞作先行詞表抽象的地點,其后常由where引導(dǎo)定語從句, where在定語從句中作地點狀語。
     Can you think out a situation where this word can be used? 你能設(shè)想這個單詞被使用的場合嗎?
     Her illness has developed to the point where nobody can cure her. 她的病發(fā)展到?jīng)]人能治的地步。
